Electrical Current Standard is 220 volts; bring an adapter if you have 115-volt appliances.
Passports: Make sure that your passport is current and does not expire within 6 months of your return.
Tipping: Some restaurants and most hotels add a service charge of 10-15% to your bill, in this case you are not expected to tip, but people often do in restaurants for exceptional service. Taxi drivers, hairdressers, and barbers also get 10-15%. For help from a hotel concierge or porter, a tip of £5 is appropriate.
Dining in England you have many options choose from great pub food to Michelin star restaurants there is an array of wonderful Scottish cuisine using locally sourced produce.
A tip for an experienced Golf Caddie is typically 30 pounds. A driver guide giving service to a small group is normally tipped quite well 100 pounds per person is appropriate for a 7/8 day trip.
Golf Carts: If you need a Golf Cart please ask your tour manager most courses have a few carts available for golfers with medical reasons and some courses have them available for general use but not too many.
Caddies are best to request in advance we can do this as part of our service
Weather Average summer temperatures are 60-74 F (15-22). Lightweight clothing is normally adequate but for the evenings you will need a sweater or jacket.
